Diabetic Retinopathy VR
The Stratos project, developed by Edmonton-based KOVR, introduces a groundbreaking VR software platform aimed at enhancing diabetic patient education on the risks of diabetic retinopathy. Leveraging virtual reality, Stratos's Diabetic Retinopathy Module allows users to experience the potential impact of vision loss through simulated everyday tasks, emphasizing the importance of regular eye exams for early detection and management.
Eyeball Journey VR

The Eye Institute
The University of Alberta Through the Looking Glass project was an ambitious effort to convey the difficulties of living with different eye conditions. Launched at a gala event, this experience helped drive empathy for people living with different eye conditions in the hopes of getting funding to help cure them.
AR Kids Menu
This project was pitched as a fun way to enhance kids menus in family restaurants. This easy to learn game was designed to run on a single device that could be passed around the table.
Noggins.fun
Every year the KO team sends out a special treat to its clients. The Noggins were based on the work done for the Edmonton Elks and features a series of collectible AR action figures based on the KO team.
Spike's Elks Charge!
The primary objective of this game is to promote the Edmonton Elks football team's new mascot, Spike, in an engaging and interactive way. By offering fans a fun and entertaining gaming experience, the team aims to build stronger connections with its audience and increase enthusiasm for the mascot and the team.
The Brick - Designed2B
This app allowed shoppers to choose from three furniture styles and pick from the 24 upholstery fabrics. The Designed2B line of furniture had a specific problem - it was highly customizable but customers often just ordered what they saw on the show floor. The Designed2B app was made available both to the public and to salespeople on the show floor to demonstrate the breadth of what was possible with the furniture.
