Project Name: Soft skills VR Training Suite

Client: NorQuest College

Project Overview:

The client required a VR application to educate both employees and employers on hiring bias and interview preparation in an engaging
and accessible way. The solution needed to cater to a diverse audience, ranging from teenagers to seniors, ensuring ease of use
for all skill levels. Additionally, comfort was a top priority—demanding high frame rates and a design focused on reducing
motion discomfort. The project also involved close collaboration with multiple stakeholders and over a dozen subject matter experts
to ensure accuracy and effectiveness.

Challenges and Solutions:

Challenge #1: Coordinating with Multiple Stakeholders

The project required close collaboration with various stakeholder groups, including over a dozen subject matter experts.
Ensuring alignment across all parties was essential for success.

Solution:
We facilitated frequent touchpoints, including regular progress meetings and detailed reports, to keep all stakeholders informed
and engaged throughout development.
This approach ensured that feedback was integrated efficiently, leading to a well-rounded final product.

Challenge #2: Ensuring Comfort for a Diverse Audience

With a broad user base ranging from teenagers to seniors, the VR experience needed to be highly accessible and comfortable,
minimizing motion discomfort and maximizing ease of use.

Solution:
Our comfort-centric design approach prioritized:

• High frame rates for smooth performance

• Simple and intuitive interfaces for easy navigation

• User-friendly design to reduce friction in adopting VR

Results & Impact:

The end result was over 90 minutes of VR content split into three “Scenarios”. As of early 2025, nearly 1000 people have completed
the training application and NorQuest College has integrated it fully into their existing VR curriculum.
